Shipping and Delivery:
Due to nature of our business all our ready-to-wear products are hand made to order and the general manufacturing lead time is 1 to 2 weeks (10 working days) before shipping; however we endeavour to ship earlier on all orders.
Our store does offer self-collection by appointment; please note our studio is located in the quiet Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Our standard shipping option is door to door courier within South Africa*, which has a delivery time of 2 to 4 working days to main centres. Overnight delivery* (excluding manufacturing time) is possible should you require an expedited option. Rural or outlying areas might have a longer delivery time depending on distance from main centres. Please contact us directly if you'd like a different shipping method as we will be able to give you a rate tailored to your needs.
International shipping* is subject to applicable customs, duties, taxes and fees charged by your designation country. We cannot be held responsible for those charges and cannot advise on what those charges may be. We recommend that you contact your local customs office for this information. We cannot take responsibility for any delays in delivery due to a countries customs clearance process.

Returns and Refunds:
In the unlikely event that a piece of jewellery is broken or defective due to a manufacturing error, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the piece and we will gladly replace or repair it for you. Items will have to be returned to us, unworn and in the original packaging. A customer who returns jewellery damaged due to neglect or general wear and tear will be charged for the repair.
Due to each piece being made to order we do not offer refunds but will replace an item or offer credit depending on the specific order. Courier fees are not refundable and return courier costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Custom/ Bespoke/ Fine Jewellery Orders**:
All custom orders are offered with consultations to discuss jewellery being manufactured and design processes. Consultations are offered free of charge and as are 2 design changes on the original discussed design.
After giving the go ahead to start on your discussed item there cannot be any changes made to the final design.
Terminating any manufacturing after the deposit has been paid will result in the loss of your deposit. In the case of a centre stone acting as your deposit, you can terminate the manufacturing with a penalty of 10% of the stone value and keep the item that you have purchased.
Custom orders have a user specific lead time and will be discussed with clients and advised during consultation time. Please note that due to the nature of our business, these times can change due to unforeseen factors, but we will always endeavour to keep to the schedule as discussed.
All fine jewellery comes with a valuation for insurance purposes.
When you purchase from us we add you to our database from which we might send you marketing materials in the form of a newsletter or special offers and news regarding Eon Hoon Jewellery Design. If you don't want to receive this please feel free to unsubscribe, we promise we won't spam you.
Repairs and Liability:
Repairs will be quoted at a minimum labour price and turnaround time will be advised on the basis of work that is required to be done.
Please ensure that you have insurance on these items in case of an armed robbery. We have also taken all the necessary precautions to ensure the safest environment for your items.
Please note that when you leave your pre-owned items for us to work on, you are doing so at own risk. We cannot be held responsible for previous repairs done and if jewellery has not been properly identified.
Full payments are to be made before, on completion or collection of repair.
All repaired jewellery remains the property of Eon Hoon Jewellery Design until repairs are paid for in full.
Repairs do not carry a guarantee, but will be assessed in good faith in case of damage reoccurring or repair not holding up.
Please note all invoices/quotations are valid for 5 working days only. Custom designed jewellery involves metal, gems and labour furnished by Eon Hoon. Jewellery designs are client specific. All orders require a non-refundable deposit/payment before work begins. Every effort is made to manufacture or produce the items(s) ordered. As such, all custom jewellery is non-refundable and non-returnable. Full payment of custom work upon delivery is required. Goods remain the property of Eon Hoon Jewellery Design until fully paid for. By completing and submitting deposit/payment, you are making an offer to purchase in full which will result in a binding contract. All custom orders have a standard lead time, depending on production schedules and will be advised in advance. All newly manufactured jewellery comes with a standard 6 months guarantee.* Inspection of item will be done to determine if a repair or replacement is necessary, due manufacturing fault or negligence by client. The latter will result in forfeit of aforementioned guarantee and will be at clients own cost.
